Regional planners help small cities reboot

Middletown, New York, and other small cities in the Hudson River Valley are revitalizing with the help of Pattern for Progress — a regional not-for-profit planning group. Pattern-trained stakeholders are spearheading projects that will restore their cities’ deteriorated or underused assets and employ them in innovative ways to attract residents, tourists, and businesses.
