NEW REGIONAL HEALTHCARE COMMITTEE
Formed in response to the recent Dyson Foundation study, “Many Voices, One Valley”, which named healthcare as one of the greatest concerns among Hudson Valley residents, this is Pattern’s newest strategic effort to enhance quality of life in our region. The Committee’s goal is to increase awareness among Hudson Valley residents for the range of health care resources available to them in the immediate region. Currently the Committee is exploring the creation of a collaboratively developed website as a central point of communication for healthcare users.

THE INTERGOVERNMENTAL COOPERATION COMMITTEE
In 2008, Pattern for Progress announced the formation of a regional intergovernmental committee to engage Hudson Valley county leaders in sharing ideas and resources that will deliver cost reductions at the local level. (See photo from initial meeting on May 30, 2008) The group's first efforts will involve an analysis of potential efficiencies in the Hudson Valley's county jail system.
