NEWBURGH (October 26, 2020) – Pattern for Progress is hosting a virtual fundraiser this year, rather than the annual dinner event many have come to look forward to each fall. The annual fundraiser enables Pattern to raise the necessary funds to continue to improve the quality of life in the Hudson Valley.
This year, donors make contributions to support Pattern for Progress online, via the organization’s website. Each donor is automatically entered into a weekly raffle to win a Dinner for Two, a $150 value, courtesy of Pattern for Progress in an effort to support local restaurants. Two winners will be drawn from the donors who contribute that week, with four drawings to be held on, November 2nd, 9th, 16th, and 23rd. Restaurants include Hudson Taco, Cosimos Restaurant Group, The Table, Garvans, and Bernies.
Pattern’s programs provide solutions to challenges that confront the Hudson Valley, taking on critical issues like housing, healthcare, education, transportation and infrastructure, focusing on emerging trends that impact the Hudson Valley. and we work to find solutions to make our community a better place. and continue to do so now at a time when reimagining and rethinking the approach to problem solving is more important than ever.
“Pattern, like many non-profit organizations, has seen its revenues significantly compromised which in turn, has impeded the work Pattern must do, “ says Pattern for Progress President and CEO, Jonathan Drapkin. “Community support is the driving force behind the important work Pattern does – local investment supports incredible initiatives like The Center for Housing Solutions, The Pattern Fellows Program, and Community ReBuilders – programs that provide solutions to our challenges, empower leaders, and incubate local community development projects. This support enables Pattern staff to provide strategic planning to those organizations and municipalities that cannot afford it.”
